What it is
WCAG 2.1 AA — the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines — is the widely-adopted standard for making digital products usable by people with disabilities: perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust interfaces.
Where Coldstream stands
Accessibility is part of how we build — semantic markup, keyboard-operable interfaces, sufficient colour contrast, reduced-motion support, and mobile-friendly layouts are baked into our design system. We’re targeting WCAG 2.1 AA as the bar for our products.
We’re honest that this is in progress: we haven’t yet completed a formal end-to-end accessibility audit against every AA success criterion.
What we’re doing
- Holding new UI to AA-level contrast, keyboard, and screen-reader expectations as it’s built.
- Planning a formal WCAG 2.1 AA audit of the core product workflows, with fixes tracked to closure.
If you use assistive technology and hit a barrier, tell us at contact@coldstream.info — we’ll prioritize it.
